The Invasive Animals CRC has a track record in innovative technology to control wild dogs and other invasive animals. With its recent extension to 30 June 2017, the Invasive Animals CRC has in the regulatory pipeline new toxins, in addition to other control options for producers: • New humane toxin PAPP (para- aminopropiophenone) backed up by methylene blue Bluehealer ® antidote for working and pet dogs. • World’s first manufactured feral pig bait (PIGOUT®) with improved target specificity. • New humane toxin (sodium nitrite) for feral pigs (HOGGONE®) with target specific bait delivery system HogHopperTM) backed up by Bluehealer ® antidote for working and pet dogs. • Cheaper bite-sized HOGGONE® Econobait, using sodium nitrite, for use in the HogHopperTM and a nitrite concentrate to add to other bait media.
